The taste of the new world meets old in this super combination. Rose flavoured confectionery came from Arabia in the middle ages and is as popular today as it was then. Quite who had the idea of coating this sweet with chocolate from the new world (around the mid 1500's) we have no idea, but we'll raise our hat to them. A genius!
